Mariner’s Cay is a picture of serenity in the morning…the light is low and warm, drying the dew on the boats…water is lapping at our stern…some are preparing to head out…a perfect time to capture morning at the marina. You paint a lovely picture of the morning with your words and images. Here snow is falling down and it’s getting dark. Hard to imagine a place where the sun gently warms your skin.
Morning aboard the boat, at least when it’s warm, is absolutely my favorite time of day, Nice images, especially that rose and bokeh sailboat!
I love your composition with that image of the sleek boat in the background at the top. Oh and that one of the buoys (I’m assuming that’s what the orange ‘balls’ are) hanging from the boat — perfect light and composition.
Great post, Sherry. I love the pics of your neighborhood. It sounds like you are very happy with your decision to live your winter life on water.
I like how you put that Pat! And yes, indeed we are — we are grateful for the opportunity!
Nice neighbourhood, I must say!
